1920s VINTAGE "TAYLOR INT'L" WEATHER STATION,BAKELITE,CROME & PLASTIC - $165 in Montreal, Quebec for sale

This very rare desktop weather station was made by Taylor Instruments out of Rochester, New York. Named "Stormoguide," It has a patent number of 1612344, which was issued on December 28, 1926. This piece was produced in 1927. Altitude/feet above sea level can be adjusted with a dial on the back. The thermometer, barometer and humidity gauges are housed in bakelite and behind a clear plastic cover. Gauges predict weather with a number of fascinating phrases such as "Clearing High Winds & Cool," "Fair Next 24 Hours" and "Storm In Direction of Wind."
This piece measures 8 " long x 5''tall x 2" deep.Weight 2 pounds 5 ounces. It is in good vintage condition.
