Company profile Our client is a well known courier company. Our client is looking for a National account executive. We are looking for an indivudual with a high level of integrity, confidence, maturity and stability.The incumbent will be responsible for the daily management of existing very large customers and will be tasked with developing long-term integrated partnerships with these customers. Moreover, the NAE will work with the field sales professionals to bring new, very large potential accounts to fruition. Products/Services: Courier services Training: *Ongoing on the job training and a 2 weeks formal training in Toronto. Previous industry experience is required. Requirements Academic: *University degree or equivalent education # years of experience: *A minimum of 5 to 7 years in corporate sales within the industry with a proven employment stability. Further more, the candidate must demonstrate strong abilities in consultative strategic sales Language: Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken) Transferable contacts: N/A Transferable knowledge: *PC skills competency in PowerPoint, Word and Excel program Travel (time): N/A except for initial training Other: *Exceptionally strong project management, time-management, negotiation and presentation skills. *Extremely organized, flexible, proactive and creative. *Professional demeanour and ability to work with all levels externally, as well as internally. *Should posess analytical skills Function Development vs maintenance (%): 60% vs 40% Road vs Office: 75% vs 25% Other 1: Works to maintain and develop accounts. * Assumes leadership role in major account presentations, and coordinates the sales strategy for accounts, and submits rates and service offers to accounts Other 2: Oversees the penetration of active accounts. *Develop relationships with existing and new account contacts (decision makers) to protect and grow current account designation and market share. Other 3: Create relationships with competitive accounts to capitalize on new opportunities as they materialize. *Use the account planning process to develop strategies to identify and close opportunities where appropriate Other 4: Sell, service, and grow assigned base of customers * Anticipates the customer's needs and identifies appropriate alternatives.
